Victoria Craft Crawl celebrates creativity across the city this weekend

Feeling crafty, Victoria?

The Downtown Victoria Business Association (DVBA) is celebrating creativity throughout the downtown Victoria area with the Victoria Craft Crawl.

The event will be taking place all weekend, from Friday, September 25th to Sunday, September 27th.

The Craft Crawl is intended to help makers explore the boutique arts and crafts community in Victoria, with components of the event taking place both online and in person.

In-person component

Throughout the weekend, participants will be able to go to any of the 19 participating downtown businesses to pick up a Craft Crawl Passport.

Each of the downtown businesses will have a stamp to be added to the passport. Once all 19 stamps have been collected, participants can leave their passport, filled in with their name and contact information, at the final business they visit.

Each passport will be entered into a draw, with a winner drawn and announced on October 3rd.

Online Component

For the online component of the event, participants will need to take photos at the participating businesses.

They can then tag the business and @victoriacraftcrawl and post the photos to Instagram or Facebook while mentioning their favourite thing about the establishment in the post.

Each post will count as one entry to another draw, with participants being able to enter as many times as they like.

One winner will be drawn from the pool of posts on October 3rd for another prize.
