VicPD searching for suspect after assault near Beacon Hill Park duck pond

VicPD are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect and locating witnesses following an assault in Beacon Hill Park on Sunday afternoon.

According to police, the assault occurred near the duck pond in Beacon Hill Park on September 27th.

Investigators are now looking for a man described as tan-skinned and in his late 40s, approximately 5’11” to 6 feet tall with a large build.

Police say the suspect has balding grey hair and distinctive tattoos on the right side of his neck and right cheek.

VicPD issued an appeal Monday afternoon asking anyone who witnessed the incident or may have information that could help identify the suspect to come forward.
