It’s time to shell-ibrate!
Sooke Crabfest will scuttle back to the Sooke Region Museum this September, bringing fresh crab and more to residents and visitors.
The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 19th, with proceeds going to support the museum and the upkeep of heritage signs in the region.
Crabfest is going to be popular this year, with presale tickets having already sold out.
More tickets will be made available at 3 p.m. on the day of the event.
Tickets for the event are $55 each and include fresh, delicious Dungeness crab, corn on the cob, bread, coleslaw and a non-alcoholic drink.
There will also be a cash bar with beer and wine available to purchase, as well as seasonal crumble for dessert.
New to the event this year is the addition of an extra dining time. Attendees will be able to dine at either 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. on the day of the event.
Live music will also be featured, with Kooler taking to the stage to offer some tunes while diners enjoy their crab.
