Thursday’s rain has lasted through the night and is expected to persist through until the evening in Greater Victoria, but there is hope for the weekend yet.
According to Environment Canada, the weather forecast for Friday, September 25th is calling for periods of rain in the capital region that will last until around 6 p.m.
Once the rain has cleared, Greater Victoria will see a mix of sun and cloud before the sun sets at around 7 p.m.
The high on Friday is expected to be just 13°C, while the overnight low will drop to around 8°C.
The forecast is calling for a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday with a slightly warmer high of 16°C. The low is again expected to be around 8°C.
Sunday is shaping up to be a nice fall day, with Environment Canada calling for a high of 17°C and sunny conditions throughout the day in the capital region.
The overnight low on Sunday is once again expected to be around 8°C.
As for next week, the forecast predicts that Monday will be partly cloudy in the daytime with a high of 18°C, although rain will be setting in through the evening.
From there on, rain is in the forecast for the rest of next week up until Thursday, October 1st, with highs ranging around 16°C.
Greater Victoria residents will just have to enjoy the weekend’s sun while it lasts.
