Thursday’s Singles Launch Party at Glitch

Just a bar where everyone is single, because the world in 2026 is all about meeting IRL, not on dating apps!

No forced interactions, no speed dating, just meeting a bar full of single people old school style.

The singles night comes from the renowned organization Thursday, which has grown into a global organization, putting on events for singles across the globe.

King Bob at Ship Point

Have you ever been to a King Bob show? They are a riot.

Named after the character from Disney’s Recess, King Bob is a local Victoria artist who knows how to put on a performance.

This is one of the last free shows of the summer at Ship Point, and is bound to be one of the best so far.

Get down to Ship Point and get your dance on!

Back 2 School Makeover market at the UVic Campus Garden

Looking for a new look before school starts?

Head to the first ever Back 2 School Makeover market at the UVic Campus Garden!

Go to the garden between 3:30-7:30pm to get a haircut (or just a bang trim), a tattoo, a new outfit, a nail set and so much more!

Airplane Mode: An Offline Activity Night at Wairua Café

Free Mushroom Identification and Foraging presentation with Melanie Hess at the Pacific Forestry Centre

Host Melanie Hess will share as much as she can to empower attendees to feel more comfortable identifying mushrooms and what to forage for.

BC born and raised all around outdoors-woman, Mycology Enthusiast, local Mushroom Identification Educator and forager, Melanie Hess is the former President and multi-task volunteer for Southern Vancouver Island Mycology Society.
