There’s a massive chocolate-focused fundraiser coming to Victoria this October

There’s some good news on the horizon for those with a sweet tooth in Victoria!

A chocolate-forward event is coming to the city that will make your heart melt.

On Sunday, October 25th, Chocolate: A Tasting Event will return to Victoria’s Crystal Garden conference centre.

With three two-hour sessions taking place throughout the day, this event is an opportunity to indulge yourself at one of the sweetest events all year.

The event will feature more than 40 of Canada’s best chocolatiers, with big names in the industry such as Chocolats Favoris, SIRENE Chocolate, Victoria’s Chocolat & Co., The Newfoundland Chocolate Company, House of Tunisian Sweets, Viva Cacao! and more.

There will be tasting aplenty, along with live demonstrations where guests can meet the makers and learn more about the world of chocolate and the art of chocolate making.

Everyone’s favourite treats will be available, including truffles, pastries, drinks and all types of chocolate-focused delicacies.

Chocolate: A Tasting Event serves as a fundraiser for the beloved Victoria Film Festival, and proceeds from the event go directly to the organization.

Tickets went on sale on August 8th, and the event is expected to be a popular one. Each ticket is $20 and can be purchased online here. Exhibitors are also still being welcomed, and sign up can be done here.
