Port Hardy RCMP seek assistance locating missing 39-year-old woman

Port Hardy RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating a missing 39-year-old woman, Amanda Murphy. 

Murphy was reportedly last seen on Saturday, August 1st, and was subsequently reported missing on Wednesday, August 5th. 

When she was last seen, police say she had been preparing to go camping in the area of Winter Harbour and San Josef Bay on Vancouver Island. 

Police describe Murphy as standing 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. 

Port Hardy RCMP and her family say they are concerned for Murphy’s health and well-being.
