Greater Victoria forecast shows possibility of rain and thunderstorms this weekend

The Greater Victoria region may see rain and thunderstorms this weekend. 

According to Environment Canada, on Friday, August 21st the high will be 26°C with increasingly cloudy conditions throughout the day. Overnight, the low will drop down to around 14°C and there is a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms. 

On Saturday, the forecast is calling for a mainly cloudy day with a 40% chance of showers and risk of a thunderstorm. The predicted high will be around 20°C while the low will be around 13°C. Overnight there is a 60% chance of showers. 

Sunday’s forecast shows a 30% chance of showers with cloudy conditions throughout the day. The high will only reach around 18°C and the overnight low is expected to be 13°C with cloudy periods throughout the night. 

As of this publication, Environment Canada predicts there will be no rain next week, but conditions from Monday to Thursday will bring a mix of sun and cloud to the region daily. Highs will range from 21°C to 22°C.
