The LateShift at Memorial Park Music Fest
Catch some live music at Memorial Park!
Every Tuesday, the Memorial Park Musical Fest takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a short intermission.
This is the festival’s fifth week, and will feature The LateShift.
They’re a fun, experienced and energetic group playing the most requested dance songs from the 50s, 60s and beyond.
Attendance is free and everyone is welcome.

Yoga in the Park at Willows Beach Park

Get involved in the community and experience the benefits of outdoor yoga. What’s not to love?
These free, all-levels classes take place every Tuesday and are led by experienced instructors.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

Pop-up Outdoor Piano Concert: Jesse Thomas Brown at Willows Beach Esplanade
Catch a pop-up piano concert at Willows Beach Esplanade!
Jesse Thomas Brown is a dedicated musical artist who has written more than 100 songs and performs between 350 and 400 shows each year.
He has released four double-length albums of original material, all with a theatrical scope reminiscent of Broadway greats such as Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim.
He’ll perform at the Arts Alive Oak Bay Pop-Up Piano Concert, Piano Océano at Willows Beach Esplanade.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet featured artists Louise Huneck and Ana Strauss.
Attendance is free and everyone is welcome.

Music in the Park at Prospect Lake Park
Grab your picnic blanket, call up your neighbours and enjoy a free summer evening of music, food and family fun!
It’s the perfect way to celebrate summer in Saanich — music in the open air, kids laughing and community all around.
BackBeat will be performing some tunes from the 60s, and there will be bouncy castles and food trucks on site for some good old fashioned family fun.

Only Yesterday at the Roxy Theatre
Head down to The Roxy for a movie from Studio Ghibli on their Saver Tuesday!
The Roxy is right in the middle of their GhibliFest, where they’ll be showing everyone’s favourite films from the legendary director Hayao Miyazaki.
This time, they’re showing Only Yesterday, in which a twenty-seven-year-old office worker travels to the countryside while reminiscing about her childhood in Tokyo.
Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased here.
