The Royal BC Museum has just unveiled its Ancient Egypt: Obsessed with Life exhibit!
There’s no better time than the present to check out the ancient artifacts, as IMAX® Victoria is now showing the companion documentary Mysteries of Egypt!
The immersive exhibit explores the legendary civilization, with a focus on galleries that recreate a journey through death, rebirth, and the afterlife.
The exhibit features embellished coffins, grave goods, jewellery, and everyday objects intended to accompany ancient Egyptian souls into eternity.
According to the museum, anyone with an interest in archaeology, spirituality or sheer wonder will be at home in the exhibit as it reveals the enduring humanity behind the mysteries of an ancient civilization.
To accompany the exhibit, Mysteries of Egypt is currently being shown at IMAX® Victoria .
The documentary is intended to transport audiences to a distant time and place, where the Nile River Valley cuts an emerald swath through the desert sands.
Mysteries of Egypt continues the adventure for ancient Egypt enthusiasts, exploring the magnificent architectural feats, awe-inspiring legends, and amazing history of the ancient civilization.
Audiences will float down the lush Nile River and soar over the Valley of the Kings on the largest IMAX screen in BC, as stars Omar Sharif and Kate Maberly explore the latest discoveries and uncover the mysteries that surround these ancient peoples.
