From free outdoor concerts by local musicians to a spicy cabaret show at Intrepid Studio Theatre, there’s plenty going on for everybody.

Straight Cold Players at the Westshore Town Centre Summer Music Series

The Westshore Town Centre’s Summer Music Series is here!

This will be the third of the series, with Stone Cold Players jamming out to some smooth jazz, lo-fi soul jazz and bossa nova music.

These events are going to be happening every Thursday evening at the Westshore Town Centre, on the pathway behind the RBC.

Soak up some summer atmosphere and grab some take-out from one of the many local restaurants!

These events are free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Music on the Lawn at the Government House Outdoor Bandshell

Grab your family, friends and neighbours and head down to the Government House Outdoor Bandshell for the debut at one of Victoria’s favourite summer traditions!

Music on the Lawn returns to Government House with an evening of live outdoor music, community atmosphere and a beautiful garden setting.

The Hit List will be headlining, and attendees can expect a mix of crowd‑pleasers, high‑energy hits and a super cool summer vibe.

These concerts are free to attend and everyone is welcome.

  • When: Thursday, July 16th – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Bad Influence with Pandora’s Box Cabaret at Intrepid Studio Theatre

Temptation is hard to resist, and Pandora’s Box is ready to be your bad influence.

Featuring the students of Pandora’s Box Burlesque series and the Ensemble. Enjoy delicious group routines and debut acts that are sure to inspire a few bad decisions.

Head down to Intrepid Studio Theatre and get a taste of Pandora’s box.

  • When: Thursday, July 16th – 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Baroque Summer Intensive – Small Ensemble Concert with the Victoria Conservatory of Music

The Baroque Summer Intensive Program concludes with a festival of three concerts of chamber music, arias, opera scenes, orchestral and choral music.

These final concerts spotlight the students and give them a chance to play side-by-side with faculty mentors.

Tickets to this show are by donation at the door.

Arts Alive Opening Celebration in Oak Bay

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Arts Alive, transforming Oak Bay into an open‑air gallery featuring Canadian artists working in stone, metal, glass, ceramic, mosaic and mixed media.

Enjoy an evening of music, art and community, beginning with a rolling tour, followed by a walking tour and ending with a reception at Causton’s Green.

Refreshments will be available for purchase from Hazel’s Ice Cream.

The tour is free, and attendees can register here.
