Rhythm Games Meet-up at Quazar’s Arcade

Meet new friends and enjoy playing Japanese arcade rhythm games at Quazar’s!

Rhythm Games is a passionate community excited to welcome everyone from total newcomers to veterans of the genre.

They host frequent in-person meetups, tournaments and social events.

If you have an interest in Dance Dance Revolution, Chunithm, Wacca, Sound Voltex, IIDX or others, join them at Quazar’s Arcade every second Monday.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Understanding Sewing Patterns at MakeSpace

Ever opened a sewing pattern and felt completely overwhelmed?

This workshop is designed to take the mystery out of sewing patterns and help you understand how to choose, read and use them successfully.

In this two-hour class, attendees will learn the differences between commercial, indie and PDF patterns, explore the pros and cons of each and gain confidence selecting patterns that match their goals and skill level.

Attendees will also learn how to read pattern envelopes and instructions, understand sizing and fabric requirements, and decode the symbols and terminology commonly found in sewing patterns.

Tickets for this event are $45 and can be purchased here.

The Gorge Farmers Market

The Gorge Farmers Market is finally back!

Happening every Monday until September 21st, the Gorge Farmers market will be setting up shop in Gorge Park.

This year, the market is celebrating its fifth season. Local food, live music, a beautiful view of the Gorge Waterway and over 50 vendors.

Get down to Gorge Park and buy local! The market is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

  • When: Monday, July 20th– 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Dustin Barden at the Irish Times Pub

Head down to the Irish Times Pub for some free live music!

Dustin is a renown local musician who will be playing guitar and keyboards and will be offering up an evening of pop music gems!

Everyone is welcome to attend these free live shows.

Caustic, White Collar and Self Defense at Little Fernwood

Catch some local hardcore and punk bands at Little Fernwood!

Caustic, White Collar and Self Defense will be taking to the stage at Little Fernwood.

This will be an early show, with doors at 7 p.m., the first band taking the stage at 8 p.m., and the show ending by 9:30 p.m.

Go support the local art scene!

Admission is only $10 at the door, and everyone is welcome to attend.
