A longtime neighbourhood gathering spot in Fairfield will soon be serving its final pint.
The Ross Bay Pub has announced it will permanently close on Friday, June 26th, ending what many residents considered a go-to destination for casual meals, live entertainment and catching the game with friends.
The announcement was shared on the pub’s social media channels Monday morning.
“It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Ross Bay Pub will be permanently closing on June 26, 2026,” the statement reads.
Located in the Fairfield Village Shopping Centre at 1516 Fairfield Road, the Ross Bay Pub has been a familiar fixture in the community, known for its relaxed atmosphere, outdoor patio, sports broadcasts, live music, comedy nights and music bingo events.
In its farewell message, the pub thanked customers for their years of support, friendship and patronage.
“It has truly been our privilege to serve this amazing community,” the statement said.
The pub is encouraging customers to stop by over its final days for one last meal, drink or toast with friends before operations wind down.
“Over the next few days, we invite you to join us one last time for your favourite meal, a pint with friends, and a final toast to the good times we’ve shared,” the message added.
The business also noted that some menu items and beverages may become limited as it works through remaining inventory ahead of closing.
No reason for the closure was provided.
The Ross Bay Pub’s final day of operation is scheduled for Friday, June 26th.
