The FernFest 2026 lineup is here!

Festival organizers Fernwood Neighbourhood House originally cancelled the event in March, but then announced it would be brought back after massive support from the community.

This year, the festival will be taking place on Saturday, June 13th as a one-day event centred around the Fernwood Community Centre, Fernwood Square and the surrounding area.

The highly anticipated music line-up has just been announced, with popular local bands Bankes Brothers and Chopping Spree at the top of the list.

The festival will also feature musical acts Hot Pot, Charmed, Millet, Earthly Delights, TK the Artist, Garden City Soul Club and lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Dancers.

In addition to live music, the festivities will include more than 130 local artisans, a dunk tank, beer garden, cardboard castle, food trucks, face painting, local ice cream, a photo booth and more!

Several organizations helped to bring this festival back to life, including local event organizers LampPost Social, who will be responsible for the music programming, food trucks and the beer garden.

The Artisan Market at the festival this year will be put on by Marcy Ross with Fernwood Makers Market, Stephanie Kerouack with Owl Designer Fair and Stacey from CREAM Life & Style.

Aryze Developments also contributed, with a $10,000 donation towards festival operations and permitting, and the City of Victoria also came through with another $20,000 contribution.

This festival has almost three decades of history in the neighbourhood and is a favourite for locals and beyond.
