Drivers are being asked to avoid a section of Craigflower Road in View Royal following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to West Shore RCMP, officers are currently responding to the collision on Craigflower Road.
As a result of the crash, Craigflower Road has been closed in both directions between Admirals Road and Cooper Road while emergency crews work at the scene.
Police say the closure is expected to remain in place as crews repair a damaged hydro pole.
No information about injuries or the circumstances leading up to the crash has been released at this time.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
West Shore RCMP thanked the public for their patience as emergency crews continue their work.
As of this publication, BC Hydro has not reported an outage due to the crash.
