Following the long weekend, Victoria’s forecast will continue to bring a mixed bag of weather this week.
According to Environment Canada, the forecast for Tuesday, May 19th predicts a mix of sun and cloud throughout the day, with a 40% chance of rain in some areas of Greater Victoria. The high will be around 16°C, while the overnight low is expected to drop down to 10°C.
Wednesday will bring a slight reprieve from cloudy conditions with a mostly sunny day and a welcome high of 21°C. The overnight low will be around 10°C with cloudy periods.
On Thursday, conditions are expected to be cloudy all day, but the high will remain around 21°C despite the conditions. Overnight, conditions are expected to be clear with the low remaining at around 10°C.
Friday is expected to be sunny once again with no clouds in the forecast. The daytime high will be around 20°C, while the overnight low will once again drop down to around 10°C.
On Saturday, Environment Canada is calling for a clear day and moderate high of 18°C. Overnight, there will be cloudy periods and the overnight low is predicted to be 8°C.
Following Saturday’s sun, the forecast is calling for more clouds to loom over Victoria on Sunday, but as of this publication, no rain is expected during the day. The high will be around 17°C. Overnight is when some rain may come back into the Greater Victoria region with Environment Canada calling for a 9°C low and 60% chance of showers.
That Sunday night rain may stick around for Monday, as the forecast currently calls for a 40% chance of showers and a high of 16°C.
