North Cowichan and Duncan RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating two people who have been reported missing in separate cases.
In the first case, 18-year-old Brooklynn Rempel was reported missing on May 1st. She was last seen on April 29th.
Brooklynn is described as a Caucasian woman, standing 5′ 6″ tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes.
In a separate investigation, police are also searching for Chela “Shayne” Pelletier, who was reported missing on April 27th.
He was last seen the same day.
Pelletier, 39, is described as a Caucasian man, standing 5′ 7″ tall and weighing approximately 181 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police say they are particularly concerned for Pelletier’s health and well-being, noting it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this length of time.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either individual is asked to contact their local police, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
