The event will feature fashion shows, travel talks, makeovers, a choir and dance performances.

An Evening in the Seed Field with Satinflower Nurseries
Join Satinflower Nurseries for a relaxed spring evening exploring the native seed field in Metchosin.
This gathering is an opportunity to share the work they’ve been doing at Satinflower Nurseries to produce native seed and support seed-based restoration.
Their seed fields have been developed over many years as a living seed bank, helping increase the availability of regionally appropriate native plants for restoration and supporting a diversity of ecologically and culturally important species.
Attendees will take a slow walk through the seed field to observe native plants in bloom and talk about seed propagation and restoration.

Phillips Comedy Night at the Mint
Every Wednesday, Morgan and Drew bring the best comics in the city together for a fresh, fun night of laughs in the heart of downtown Victoria.
Wildly popular and always new, Comedy Night is a hilarious night out.
Don’t forget to grab some of the delicious west coast Himalayan cuisine that the Mint is famous for.

The Universe Through a Lens: A Journey in Capturing the Night Sky with Megan Meraz
Astrophotography can seem like a daunting hobby, but it’s more about the journey than the destination.
Megan Meraz will share her 15-year journey, from blurry beginnings to where she is today after many starts, stops and gradual improvements.
She will share what she has learned about how to capture the night sky, from finding objects to photographing, tracking and processing them.
The talk will also highlight how accessible astrophotography has become today, with a wide range of options for anyone to begin capturing the universe.
Megan Meraz is an amateur astrophotographer and a proud member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC).
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Victoria. She aims to spark curiosity about the universe and encourage others to explore astronomy in their own way, no matter their starting point.
This event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
