Looking to fill your baskets this Easter long weekend?

From massive park takeovers to smaller neighbourhood hunts, there are plenty of opportunities for kids to gather chocolates across Greater Victoria.

Here’s a list of Easter egg hunts happening April 4th and 5th:

Neal Estate Group Easter Egg Hunt

A long-running community favourite with organized egg hunts by age group, plus games, crafts, and family fun. Event starts at 10 a.m, with the Easter egg hunt starting at 11 a.m.

  • Where: Bullen Park, Esquimalt
  • When: Saturday, April 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Esquimalt Lions Easter Eggstravaganza

A long-running community favourite with organized egg hunts by age group, along with games, crafts, and family-friendly activities.

  • Where: Bullen Park, Esquimalt
  • When: Saturday, April 4th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Central Saanich Lions Easter Egg Hunt

A popular Peninsula event where kids are divided into age groups before the hunt begins. This one typically draws a strong local turnout. For kids ages 1–9. Children are grouped into ages 1–3, 4–5, and 6–8.

  • Where: Centennial Park, Saanichton
  • When: Sunday, April 5th at 12 p.m.

Peninsula Celebrations Easter Egg Hunt

This North Saanich event includes egg hunts, games, and a visit from the Easter Bunny, making it a great option for families on the Peninsula.

  • Where: Dominion Brook Park, North Saanich
  • When: Sunday, April 5th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Fairfield United Church Easter Egg Hunt

A smaller neighbourhood-style event with multiple rounds of egg hunts, which helps make it less overwhelming for younger children.

  • Where: 932 Balmoral Road
  • When: Saturday, April 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Christ Church Cathedral Easter Egg Hunt

A short and simple egg hunt held on the lawn in downtown Victoria, best suited for younger kids.

  • Where: 930 Burdett Avenue
  • When: Sunday, April 5th at 10:30 a.m.

The Butchart Gardens Easter Bunny Hunt

Instead of a traditional egg scramble, kids follow a map through the gardens searching for hidden bunnies and can earn a treat at the end.

  • Where: The Butchart Gardens, Brentwood Bay
  • When: Friday, April 3rd to Monday, April 6th

Peninsula Co-op Easter Festival

Join Peninsula Co-op for the first-ever Easter Festival!

Celebrate spring with a fun-filled community festival at Willows Beach Park in Oak Bay.

  • Where: Willows Beach, 2423 Beach Drive
  • When: Saturday, April 4th – 10 a.m.

Easter at Royal Bay 

Don’t miss this early Easter celebration!

Join Royal Bay’s annual Easter egg hunt with two age groups, four hidden golden eggs, bouncy obstacles, music, cookie decorating, snacks and so much more.

  • Where: Meadow Park, Latoria Boulevard
  • When: Saturday, April 4th – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Family-Friendly Easter Egg Hunt

Join Fairfield United for their annual, fun-filled and family-friendly Easter egg hunt!

They will be hosting multiple egg hunts on church grounds (inside the gym if it is raining and in the courtyard if it is sunny) between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on April 4th.
