Nanaimo RCMP have put out a plea for the public’s assistance in locating a 42-year-old woman, Tamara Price, who is wanted for alleged theft.

According to police, the warrant stems from an incident that occurred in late December 2025 in which she allegedly stole around $3,200 in merchandise from a local business.

Police did not specify which business was impacted by the incident of alleged theft.

Investigators say they have made multiple attempts to locate Prince, but have not been successful.

Nanaimo RCMP describe Prince as an Indigenous woman, standing 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police noted that she has a few notable tattoos that may help identify her, including a butterfly, a crown and the words “Brayden 17” on her left forearm.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tamara Prince should contact Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754‑2345.
