Soak in the rays while you can!

Being that this week started with Groundhog Day, and all groundhog/marmot authorities called for six more weeks of winter, it is no surprise that Victoria is in for more rain.

Though before the rain comes, there is still a bit of sun left to be expected.

According to Environment Canada, the forecast for Thursday, February 5th calls for sunny skies and a high of 14°C. Overnight, conditions will be clear, becoming partly cloudy before morning with a low of 5°C.

Friday will bring with it the last bit of sun for the foreseeable future, but is expected to become increasingly cloudy through the evening. The high is expected to be around 11°C, while the overnight low will be 8°C.

On Saturday, Environment Canada is calling for rain throughout the day and overnight with a high of 11°C and a low of 8°C.

Sunday’s forecast calls for a 70% chance of rain, again with a high of 11°C. Overnight the chance of showers will drop to 40°C, with a low of 4°C.

From Monday through to Wednesday, Environment Canada is calling for more rain and overcast conditions. Highs next week will range between 8°C and 9°C, while lows will hover around 3°C.
