Move aside, Miami Beach!

Vancouver Island has been named one of the top 27 adult spring break destinations from around the world, according to Condé Nast Traveler.

This list highlights cities and countries that might surprise you, favouring mild weather, fewer crowds, and destinations made for slowing down and recharging.

As the only Canadian destination to make the list, Vancouver Island is praised as the perfect place to rest and relax, surrounded by stunning West Coast nature.

From March through May, the Island enjoys a temperate climate and lower prices for travellers compared to peak summer months, making it an ideal spring escape.

Visitors can also skip the summer crowds when still enjoying outdoor experiences like whale watching, hot springs, and coastal hikes.

For those seeking a luxe and private stay that feels like an adult sleepaway camp, Condé Nast Traveler recommends Tofino’s Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge.

With five safari-style tents—from the Waterfront Deluxe to the Rainforest Ensuite—each offering breathtaking ocean, forest, and mountain views, it’s a truly unforgettable experience.
