Maanomaa, My Brother at the Belfry Theatre
A simple and theatrical performance of two “brothers” confronting the chasm between them.
Childhood friends Kwame and Will reunite in Ghana for the funeral of a loved one, and discover how much has changed since they separated 25 years earlier.
Telling their story in a beautiful combination of dialogue and movement, the play is both fiercely personal and curiously abstract.

Scratch Night: A New Performance Testing Ground
A night of brand-new experiments by local queer performers, hosted by Louie Lang Norman at Intrepid Theatre!
Scratch Nights—staples in UK performance scenes—allow audience members to be embedded into how artists develop new works.
Each performer is given 15 minutes of stage time with just two requirements: a performance and a discussion with the audience.
