Victoria Hot Chocolate Festival returns for its third year this February

Share

Calling all hot chocolate lovers!

A month-long hot chocolate festival is bringing sweet experiences for the third time to Victoria during February in support of the BC SPCA Victoria Community Animal Centre.

From February 1st to 28th, customers can enjoy artisan hot chocolates from over 25 participating vendors, including Beacon Brewing, Cold Comfort Ice Cream, and The Courtenay Room.

The festival recently announced two exciting new participants on their Instagram: Floyd’s Diner and Green Cuisine.

This year, Victoria’s iconic Floyd’s Diner is offering a unique twist on the classic hot chocolate—a Pink White Hot Chocolate with whipped cream, candied bacon, and a drizzle of maple cream cheese.

While Green Cuisine, a beloved vegetarian restaurant, bakery, and cafe is going back to the classics with a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.

You can sip on these mouthwatering creations on February 1st.

Hot chocolate prices are set by each location, however, $1 from each sale will go directly to the BC SPCA Victoria Community Animal Centre.

This year, the festival’s goal is to raise $7,500 for the local animal shelter.

With February in full swing, the Victoria Hot Chocolate Festival offers the perfect excuse to enjoy the season, hopping from place to place to discover the best hot chocolate, all while supporting your local animal community.

As their website gets ready for the upcoming festival, be sure to follow them on Instagram for the latest updates and exciting announcements!
