VicPD are seeking witnesses to come forward and drivers to check dashcam footage following a hit-and-run incident which saw a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Quadra Village.
On January 7th, just before 6 p.m., VicPD were contacted by BC Emergency Health Services after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Hillside Avenue and Quadra Street.
Police say the suspect vehicle fled the scene before they arrived on the scene.
Paramedics transported the woman who was struck to hospital with serious injuries.
According to VicPD, Investigators have been canvassing the area for video footage from nearby residences and businesses, but are seeking more information on the suspect and their vehicle.
