Share

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP have launched an investigation into a recent occurrence of credit card fraud and are asking for the public’s help in identifying a witness.

On November 28th, 2025 at around 11:27 a.m., police received a report of a stolen credit card that had been used in multiple establishments in the Duncan area.

Investigators were able to gather CCTV footage from the stores where purchases were made between November 8th and November 16th.

Following November 16th, the card had been cancelled by its rightful owner, who had realized it was missing.

It was then reported stolen 12 days later.

Police have been unable to identify a suspect who was seen on the gathered CCTV footage and are now reaching out to the community to see if anyone can help identify the man in the photo.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at (250) 748-5522.
