VicPD are investigating after a man was found dead along Government Street early Wednesday morning.
In an email statement to Victoria Buzz, a VicPD spokesperson said officers were called to the 900 block of Government Street after BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) reported a person in need of medical assistance.
According to VicPD, police arrived at the scene and located a deceased man.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the area just after 6:30 a.m., however BCEHS confirmed that no one was transported to hospital.
VicPD says the investigation into the man’s death is ongoing.
