The holiday season at The Butchart Gardens has come to a close.
Similar to past years, the gardens will be closed for two weeks during its annual winter break from January 19th to February 1st.
After a busy holiday season, the gardens and staff will be taking some much-needed rest to prepare for the upcoming spring season.
Their annual festive display, which included millions of colourful lights, 12 Days of Christmas displays, and holiday music, wrapped up on January 6th.
The Seed & Gift Store will be closed starting January 17th for inventory, but will reopen with the rest of the gardens.
All 12 Month Passes that are valid during the winter closure will be extended 14 days—the amount of time the garden is closed.
Although the festive lights have been packed away until next year, The Butchart Gardens will reopen on February 2nd, just in time to prepare for the spring season, which begins March 24th.
So if you’re hoping to sneak in some garden time before they close for a bit, now’s your chance!
