Sweet Smell of Success at Cinceta

Calling all classic movie lovers!

Sweet Smell of Success is a 1957 film noir satirical drama directed by Alexander Mackendrick, known for The Ladykillers and Whisky Galore!

In this classic film, New York City newspaper columnist J.J. Hunsecker (Burt Lancaster) wields significant influence over public opinion through his Broadway column. 

However, there’s one thing he can’t control: his younger sister Susan (Susan Harrison), who is romantically involved with aspiring jazz guitarist Steve Dallas (Marty Milner). 

Disapproving of the relationship, Hunsecker enlists the help of publicist Sidney Falco (Tony Curtis) to break them up—using any means necessary.
