Saanich Police have launched an investigation into an alleged assault that is believed to have occurred in the Burnside-Gorge area.
According to police, officers responded to a call on Burnside Road West, between Harriet Road and Tillicum Road, on Sunday, December 14th.
There, officers located a man suffering from an apparent stab wound.
Once located, paramedics transported the man to receive medical attention at hospital, but later refused medical treatment and declined to provide a statement to police.
Saanich Police say that given the individual’s unwillingness to cooperate with investigators, this is believed to be an isolated or targeted incident.
Police ask that anyone who was travelling along Burnside Road West between Harriet Road and Tillicum Road, on Sunday, between 4:40 p.m. and 5:40 p.m., to review dash cam footage.
