Nanaimo RCMP seek public assistance locating missing 56-year-old Ucluelet man (UPDATED)

Nanaimo RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 56-year-old man who has not been seen or heard from since Christmas Eve.

Police say Darryl Martin hails from Ucluelet and was dropped off at the Port Place Mall to do some last-minute holiday shopping on December 24th. 

They added that Martin’s disappearance is irregular and out of character. His family is concerned for his safety and well-being.

Martin is described as an Indigenous man, standing 5’10” tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with black/grey hair and brown eyes. 

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Darryl Martin should contact Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
