This holiday season, Mayfair Shopping Centre and The Mustard Seed have partnered up to bring a special two-week pop-up event that spreads holiday cheer and supports local families.
The Mustard Seed is a long-standing local charity that works to address poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity through its food bank, housing services, and community outreach programs. Their volunteers help create sustainable solutions and provide support to those in need across the region.
The Hope Store runs from December 12th to 24th at Mayfair near Talbots, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
At this festive fundraiser, visitors can purchase Christmas cards that acknowledge a donation made to The Mustard Seed on a loved one’s behalf and make a contribution towards ending food scarcity.
This year’s hand-drawn Christmas card was designed by 14-year-old Zalta, a recipient of The Mustard Seed’s food bank.
The pop-up is largely run by volunteers, who will be there to greet guests, share information about The Mustard Seed’s community programs, and collect donations.
