It has now been more than four years since Colwood resident Geoffrey Irwin vanished, and West Shore RCMP say their investigation remains open with very few new developments.
Irwin, who is now 40, was 35-years-old when he was last seen leaving his family home on September 27th, 2020.
He was captured on video later that day at the Royal Bank of Canada on Jacklin Road. That was the last confirmed sighting of him.
At the time, Irwin was described as a Caucasian man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He stands 6′ tall and weighed about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey zip-up hoodie over a black T-shirt and black shorts, and he was carrying a backpack.

He was known to travel between the West Shore and the Lower Mainland, often driving a black 2017 Ford Escape. That vehicle was located by West Vancouver Police near Park Royal shopping centre on November 25th, 2020.
No further confirmed sightings of Irwin have been reported since.
In a statement to Victoria Buzz, West Shore RCMP confirmed the file remains active and is being handled by the Serious Crime Unit.

Police continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.
There have been very few updates released publicly since Irwin was first reported missing, and his family is still searching for answers.
Victoria Buzz has reached out to relatives and friends and will update this story as more information becomes available.
