Christmas Tree Village at Esquimalt Rec Centre

Experience the magic of the holidays at Esquimalt Recreation Centre’s 10th Annual Christmas Tree Village! 

Join the rec centre as they transform the Recreation Centre Atrium into a holiday heaven teeming with twinkling lights and decorations for all tastes. 

Explore the trees and vote for your favourite!

17th Annual Gingerbread Showcase

The 17th Annual Gingerbread Showcase is open to the public at the Hotel Grand Pacific for another year of festive fun. 

Hosted by Habitat for Humanity, this is their main fundraising event, bringing together community members and local creatives in support of affordable housing. 

Visitors can browse the incredibly decorated gingerbread houses daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until January 4th, 2026, and vote for their favourite one—earning the winner  the honour of being the 2025 People’s Choice Award!

4-Course Christmas Dinner at LURE Restaurant + Bar

End your Christmas Day on a high note with a refined four-course dinner at LURE. 

Our chefs have prepared a festive menu that blends traditional holiday flavours with modern flair. Coffee and tea are included to complete your evening, all served in our cozy waterfront setting.

Craft & Connect

Drop in for a relaxed crafting session where creativity and community come together. 

Whether you’re working on your own project or trying something new, it’s a great chance to unwind, make something fun, and connect with others. 

Basic craft supplies and light refreshments will be provided—just bring your imagination! 

All ages are welcome, it’s completely free to attend, and no registration is required.

Lights of Wonder – Ferris Wheel

Don’t miss the chance to ride on the iconic Ferris Wheel at Lights of Wonder! 

Take in the stunning festive sights of Centennial Square as it’s transformed into a winter wonderland from now until December 31st. 

From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Ferris wheel will be running, along with food trucks and the Information Hut.
