Two people were arrested earlier this week following a raid on a Vancouver Island home.
In a media release, Port Alberni RCMP said they seized weapons, cash, and a large quantity of suspected illicit drugs after executing a search warrant at a home on 4th Avenue.
Police searched the residence on the afternoon of November 19th, with assistance from the Vancouver Island Emergency Response Team.
Two adults living in the home were arrested and are facing potential charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
As of this publication, the investigation remains ongoing and no charges have been sworn.
Police said there were no injuries during the raid.
