Oak Bay Police have located and arrested a man in connection with an October domestic assault.
On November 2nd, police arrested 37-year-old Antony Abreu Ramirez, who was wanted for assault and on a separate warrant under section 55(2) of the Immigration Act.
Abreu Ramirez appeared before a judge on the assault charge and remains in custody.

The arrest follows an incident on October 10th, when police responded to reports of a disturbance at a residence and found a woman suffering from visible injuries, including a swollen and bleeding lip.
Abreu Ramirez had reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived, and a warrant was issued shortly after.
