Victoria rock fans are in for a major throw-back next spring!

It’s confirmed that the multi-platinum band Goo Goo Dolls will kick off their Canadian tour with Dashboard Confessional at Victoria’s Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19th.

Known for global hits like Iris and Slide, the Buffalo-based group continues to draw new audiences nearly 30 years after topping charts.

Their song Iris recently went viral again, climbing into Spotify’s top 10 in Canada and earning Diamond certification with more than five billion streams worldwide.

It’s also been covered in recent years by artists including Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, Maggie Rogers and Machine Gun Kelly.

Tour stops across Canada include Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Ottawa, and Dashboard Confessional will join as special guest — giving fans a double dose of 90s and early-2000s nostalgia.

Tickets start at around $55 for the upper bowl, with mid-range seats landing between $69 and $89 depending on where you want to sit.

If you’re looking to be close to the stage, expect to pay about $129.

For superfans, there are also VIP packages that come with perks like meeting the band and grabbing exclusive merch — those range from about $400 all the way up to nearly $2,900 depending on how close and how personal you want the experience to be.

Formed in 1986 by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac, the Goo Goo Dolls have sold more than 15 million records worldwide, earned four Grammy nominations and remain one of the most successful alternative-rock bands of their era.

The concert on March 19th, 2026 at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is shaping up to be a night packed with nostalgia, sing-alongs and a chance to hear one of the most streamed rock ballads in the world, live.
