Share

Mark your calendars, Victoria!

You’re invited to the BC Parliament Buildings for their 41st annual ‘Celebrate the Season Light Up’ event this Friday, November 28th at 3:30 p.m.

Head inside to the upper rotunda for magical performances by the Greater Victoria Concert Band, Joy of Life Choir, and Reynolds Carol Band before heading outside for the main event.

Around 6 p.m., gather around the front driveway and the sequoia tree for special performances from the Willows Choir and Glenlyon Norfolk Middle School Choir, complete with free hot chocolate to warm you up!

Then, watch as the parliament buildings and sequoia tree glow with thousands of colourful holiday-themed lights, launching downtown Victoria into the holiday season.

In attendance will be Elder Mary Ann Thomas of the Esquimalt Nation, Elder and Councillor Frank George of the Songhees Nation, and Mable Elmore, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.

This is a free event with no registration required!

It’ll be a festive night you won’t forget—gather your friends and family to kick off the holiday season with this magical light-up at the BC Parliament Buildings.
