Royal Athletic Park will turn into a fall playground this Saturday

Looking for an easy way to celebrate the season with the whole family, Victoria?

This weekend, on Saturday October 4th, Royal Athletic Park is transforming into an autumn playground from 1 to 4 p.m. for the City of Victoria’s Fall Fun Family Event.

The free afternoon promises all the seasonal favourites — from hands-on cider pressing and lawn games to a bouncy castle for the kids.

Warm drinks will be on hand to keep spirits high and fingers toasty, so bundle up and come ready for an afternoon of games, laughter, and good times.

To make things easier for everyone, the main entrance will be on Caledonia Avenue, with accessible entry via the Green Street gate.

Free on-street parking is available along Pembroke Avenue and Cook Street, with additional lots at 940 Caledonia Avenue and 1925 Blanshard Street.

The event is designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring a sensory-friendly area supported by the Canucks Autism Network.

Please note that it’s a smoke- and alcohol-free gathering, and while service animals are welcome, pets will need to stay home.

With crisp air, family fun, and plenty of activities, this is one fall tradition that’s worth pencilling into the weekend calendar.
