Sooke RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in recovering a custom motorcycle that was stolen from East Sooke Park last week.

The customized 2010 U-Build chopper-style motorcycle was reported stolen to police on October 15th.

According to police, the chopper was stolen from the park between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

One notable marking on the motorcycle are several custom painted Looney Tunes images adorning the gas tank, as well as the front and back fenders.

“We are asking anyone with [sic] who may have seen this motorcycle around that time to contact police,” said Corporal Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the BC RCMP.

“We are aware that parts of the motorcycle may have been sold after the fact, therefore we are urging anyone making purchases on used parts to be extra vigilant.”

Anyone with information about the stolen chopper should contact Sooke RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
