Police and family are asking for the public’s help in locating 11-year-old Brylin Delano, who has been missing since Friday afternoon after failing to return home from school.

According to his mother, Steff Davies, Brylin was last seen around 3:30 p.m. on October 17th in the Langford area and never made it home.

She shared a public post urging anyone who may have seen him to come forward, adding that he might have been carrying a school bag and wearing a sweater and gum boots.

West Shore RCMP confirmed a missing person report has been filed and released a description of Brylin as part of their appeal for information.

He is 11 years old, stands about 4’11” tall, has a slender build, and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark grey t-shirt, blue pants, white socks, and black flip-flops.

Police confirmed he may have been carrying a black and brown backpack.

Investigators and family members are deeply concerned for his safety, describing his disappearance as completely out of character. Police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, but Brylin remains missing as of Saturday morning.

Anyone who may have information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
