Harvest for Hounds Market
October 4th & 5th – (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
Join Merridale for a weekend of shopping, sipping, and supporting BC and Alberta Guide Dogs.
Your market ticket includes a warm cup of hot apple cider, and you can add on a Pup-kin Photo — a festive fall keepsake of your pup captured by a professional photographer. 100% of proceeds from tickets and Pup-kin Photo add-ons go directly to BC + Alberta Guide Dogs.

Thanksgiving Weekend
October 10th–13th
Thanksgiving weekend at Merridale is full of fall flavours and seasonal fun. Guests can explore the orchard, sip cider, and enjoy festivities throughout the day. A farm-fresh turkey dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce, and seasonal sides is served all day, with reservations after 4pm. Families can dine by the plate, or groups of 10+ can gather for a family-style feast. Book now to secure a spot for this holiday tradition.

Spirit Scavenger Hunt
October 18th, 19th, 25th & 26th – (2 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
Spirits are on the loose! Join Merridale’s cheeky, adults-only scavenger hunt through the distillery, orchard, and farmhouse.
Solve riddles, find mischievous “spirits,” and earn tasting pours for every correct answer. Costumes, photos, and silliness encouraged—it’s part game, part tasting, all fun!

Pint & Paint Night
October 26th – (6 p.m. – 8 p.m.)
Merridale’s Halloween edition of Pint & Paint brings together cider, creativity, and a little spooky spirit!
Paint your very own growler while sipping your favourite potion, then take it home filled to the brim.
Your ticket includes the growler, painting supplies, and a fill to go. This is an 19+ event, costumes welcome, reservations essential—this one sells out fast.

Harvest Scavenger Hunt
All October – (Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
Bring the kids (and your inner child) for a free fall scavenger hunt through Merridale’s orchard and courtyard.
Pick up a map from the Farmhouse, hunt for hidden letters, and crack the code to reveal the secret word. Dress for the weather, and don’t forget to stop by the Farmhouse for a hot cider—boozy option available for grown-ups.

Picture-Perfect Pumpkins
October 4th-31st – (Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
This year, Miller + Co. are bringing their beautiful pumpkins back to Merridale—skip the patch and head straight for the photo ops.
Snap a pic with your little ones, pups & pals! And you can even purchase a pumpkin to take the magic home.
No need to register for this one, just show up for pumpkin-themed fun!
Cask Collection & Tasting
October 26th – (4 p.m. 5 p.m.)
Join Merridale in the distillery for an exclusive cask tasting experience!
You’ll savour the next small-batch whisky before it’s bottled—an early preview of what’s aging to follow in the footsteps of Merridale’s gold medal winner at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards.
Your guided tasting also includes two rare spirits from the cask-aged collection: the 9-year Bartlett Pear Brandy and single-vineyard XXO Brandy, aged 17 years.
