Downtown Victoria is about to get an exciting makeover!
This Sunday, October 26th, Government Street will come alive with ghosts, goblins, and fun as the 11th Annual Thrifty Foods Wicked Victoria festival takes over.
It’s bigger than ever and now expands into Bastion Square.
The free, family-friendly event, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., promises a full day of live entertainment, festive shopping, and plenty of treats for all ages.
With more than 90 vendors, a bouncy obstacle course, free cupcake decorating, craft stations, and spooky storytelling with John Adams, there’s something for everyone.
Costumes are strongly encouraged, and kids will love trick-or-treating at participating booths and local businesses throughout the event. Expect to see creative outfits, colourful characters, and many photo-worthy moments along the cobblestone streets.
Two stages will keep the energy high with live performances all day long, including the Maple Leaf Ballet’s “Thriller” routine, music by Love Cats, and vibrant sets from Fiesta Latina and Stephanie Greaves.
Across Government and Bastion stages, local favorites like Adam Zonnis, Miranda Stewart, Sarah Wade, and Harvey Moon will keep the good vibes going.
Organized by the Greater Victoria Festival Society, Wicked Victoria has become an annual celebration that brings families, friends, and visitors together for a day to celebrate the fun of Halloween.
