A unique VIP movie night is coming to Langford, where the community can enjoy an unforgettable evening for a good cause.
Presented by the City of Langford, the event will take place at Starlight Stadium, and will feature special guest appearances, engaging activities, a red-carpet photo experience with paparazzi, and Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning on a 33-foot screen!
Grab your coziest blankets and chairs and join in on the fun next Friday, September 12th—an incredible night which will also help raise essential funds to help recruit and retain family doctors and support quality improvement initiatives in existing clinics, addressing the urgent gap in primary care throughout the South Island Primary Care Society.
In just one year, The South Island Primary Care Society has successfully brought 12 new physicians to the community who are actively attaching patients, taken over two clinics at risk of closing, and started a new clinic in Colwood.
In 2025/2026 the society will continue to support these clinics while continuing efforts to open additional clinics on the South Island such as our Goldstream Medical Clinic Brynn Maur location and more to be announced.
This isn’t just your regular movie night—there will also be drinks and food available, live music by Jaimeson Rhysted, and there will even be a chance to walk the red carpet and strike a pose for photographers.
Plus, the evening will be hosted by Victoria’s favourite magician Jason Verners—who’s always got a little bit of something hidden up his sleeve!
This will be a Pay-What-You-Can event, meaning when you reserve your ticket, you’ll choose the amount you’re comfortable giving—with a minimum of $5 dollars.
