Sooke RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a theft from a local business last month.
On August 24th, at about 6:14 a.m., more than $5,000 worth of tools were stolen from inside a work vehicle.
Police say the suspect fled in a white pickup truck outfitted with a large, rusty fuel tank in the bed.
The truck was also using a stolen licence plate: WW5069.
The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 25 and 35, standing between 5’10” and 6’ tall.
