One lucky player in BC is waking up $31 million richer after winning the jackpot in last night’s Lotto Max draw.
The winning numbers were 8, 9, 23, 30, 38, 40, and 43. The ticket was purchased on PlayNow.com.
The winner has 52 weeks from the draw date to claim their prize. After they claim it, BCLC will announce their name and confirm where the ticket was bought.
The odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot are an impressive 1 in 33,294,800 for every $5 play, making this win a stroke of luck.
So far this year, BC lottery players have claimed over $196 million in Lotto Max winnings. The province’s largest jackpot was won in May when one ticket took home an $80 million prize.
Lotto Max draws occur every Tuesday and Friday evening. Tickets can be purchased at lottery retailers throughout BC or online at PlayNow.com.
