15 things to do in and around Victoria this weekend—September 20th and 21st

Happy weekend!

Although September is winding down, events in and around the city are certainly not, and this list of things to do is indicative of just that.

The circus is still in town, the Ultimate Toy Fair is back, and there’s even an emo night you can partake in, if that’s your jam!

With all of that in mind, here are 15 things to do in and around Victoria this weekend—September 20th and 21st:

Last Daze of Summer

Last Daze of Summer II is an outdoor Afro-fusion day party celebrating the final stretch of sunshine in Victoria.

From Afrobeats to Amapiano to global summer sounds, they’re bringing the heat one last time before the fall.

Soul of Vietnam Festival

Experience authentic Vietnamese culture at the very first Soul of Vietnam Festival!

It’s a free, family-friendly celebration with food, fashion, music, and more, happening at downtown Victoria’s Ship Point.

Emo Night at Lucky Bar

Grab the plaid, Docs, and your emo besties—Emo Night is BACK at Lucky Bar!

DJs Bowlcut and Stormey will be spinning the best emo, punk, metal, hardcore, screamo and more, and tickets are only $10!

Doors open at 10 p.m.

Oktoberfest in Market Square

Join Whistle Buoy for the final Big Patio Day of 2025—a celebration of beer, music, food and fun! The tents will be up and the Victoria Edelweiss Dancers will be there to help celebrate.

There will be music by DJ Dan Reid, Jaya Bremer, and OK Charlie, and fresh beer releases too!

There will also be pretzels available from Working Culture, and the event is family and dog friendly. $5 admission at the door!

Everyone Welcome Skate at Panorama

Let’s send off summer with a splash of colour! Wear your brightest and most colourful outfit – and let’s see if we can complete the rainbow!

The Station Food Truck & Music Festival

Join the City of Langford for a vibrant weekend of food, music, and community spirit at the annual Station Food Truck & Music Festival.

The event will feature:

  • Over a dozen food trucks offering a variety of delicious eats
  • FREE live performances from talented local musicians
  • A welcoming beer garden to unwind
  • Games and activities for all ages

Smalltoberfest at Small Gods Brewing

Small Gods Brewing is bringing the Oktoberfest vibes back to Sidney!

Save your appetite for Ethiopian Wish Catering, Bahay Kubo, Churros and Mor, or dine at all three.

This is a unique family event that you won’t want to miss!

The Ultimate Toy Fair

Circo Osorio Circus

Have you spotted the massive purple and white circus tent at Mayfair?

It’s there because an international circus has arrived in Victoria and will be in town for nearly two weeks of fun and entertainment!

Circo Osorio Circus a family-owned traveling show with performers from around the world, will set up its iconic striped tent in the Mayfair Shopping Centre parking lot from September 11th to 22nd.

Fall Fairfield

Fall Fairfield, presented by the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association (FGCA), is an annual music, arts, crafts and food festival set in the heart of Fairfield.

The festival is a free, all-ages, community event celebrating local businesses and non-profits, artists, performers, and people across Victoria in recognition of our community’s dynamic culture and the harvest season!

Sooke Apple Festival

This event is bursting with fall flavours!

The fruit is ripening at the Sunriver Orchard, and this fundraising community event gives you the chance to buy apples, pears, and quince grown right in Sooke.
