Campbell River RCMP are seeking witnesses after a man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after an altercation.
On August 2nd, police were informed of an altercation that occurred in downtown Campbell River between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Police believe it happened somewhere between JJ’s Nightclub on Cedar Street and the 900-block of 12 Avenue.
The victim, a 41-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries that are considered life threatening.
“We are asking anyone that may have video evidence, or any information regarding the incident to come forward and speak to the police,” said Cst Maury Tyre.
Investigations are ongoing, and police said no further information is available at this time.
