West Shore RCMP are seeking the assistance of the public in the identification of a suspected fraudster involving more than $5,000 in fraudulent activities.
According to police, the suspect in question is alleged to have fraudulently procured several smartphones from a mobile shop in Langford using false identification.
The suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s with a dark brown eyes and black facial hair.
At the time of the fraud, the suspect was last seen in a white t-shirt, and a black baseball cap with white trimming.
Anyone with information relating to identification of the suspect are asked to contact West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
