After a hot week with a brief stint of rain, Victoria’s weather will stabilize this weekend, with moderate temperatures and some cloud coverage.
However, mid-next week, things will heat back up again in Garden City.
According to Environment Canada, Friday, August 29th will set the stage for the weekend, with a mix of sun and cloud, and a predicted high of 24°C.
Friday’s forecast also features a bit of wind in Victoria with gusts of up to 50 km/h. Residents and visitors can expect slightly cooler temperatures near the water where the wind is strongest. The overnight low is expected to be around 12°C.
Saturday is forecasted to cool down a bit in Victoria, with an expected high of 22°C, and continued partly cloudy conditions. The overnight temperatures may get down to around 13°C.
On Sunday and Monday, which is Labour Day, Environment Canada predicts a mix of sun and cloud, with highs of 21°C and overnight lows of between 11°C and 12°C.
When the work week begins again on Tuesday, the clouds are forecasted to dissipate and temperatures are predicted to be back on the rise. Tuesday is expected to be sunny with a high of up to 24°C and a low of 15°C.
Wednesday and Thursday is when things will really begin to heat up again in Victoria, with Environment Canada calling for highs of 27°C and sunny conditions.
